Hi, I’m Carla, a Swiss-French-Argentinian Artist Filmmaker and Photographer who is based in between Buenos Aires, Argentina and London, UK.

My creative practice encompasses filmmaking, photography, and sound. I am interested in the materiality of these mediums and explore the use of archives and analogue techniques. My works aim to capture real life people and their unique life stories with a particular interest in working class backgrounds and older generations.

I like to investigate the relationship between documentary and fiction and between mythology and reality. I am very inspired by the Surrealist movement and I often take inspiration from my dreams and from tales.

I graduated from a Master in ‘Fine Art Media’ from the Slade School of Fine Art (University College London) in 2024, from a Postgraduate Diploma in ‘Location sound recording for Film & Television’ from the National Film and Television School in 2023 and from a Bachelor in ‘Sound Arts & Design’ from the University of the Arts London in 2019.

I am currently working on a documentary film for which I obtained a scholarship for, at the Universidad del Cine (FUC) of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
